Jetways Shuttle Service, division of 891019 Ontario Limited
When booking with Jetways Shuttle Service, you agree to the terms and conditions stated on these pages and enter into agreements with Jetways Shuttle Service (division of 891019 Ontario Limited), and with others who provide your travel services. Therefore, please ensure that you read and understand these terms and conditions before making your Jetways Shuttle Service reservations.
1) Rates
All rates published are quoted in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include mandatory taxes and are calculated at time of booking. Rates are based on a fixed cost at time of publication including but not limited to increase due to fluctuations in fuel. Rates are subject to change without notice. All passengers must be pre-paid and pre-booked with their name to appear on a Jetways manifest for passenger date of travel. Drivers will not accept cash and hop-on travelers are not permitted.
2) Payments
Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Your verbal or on-line authorization of the use of your credit card indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions and confirms your reservation whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Travel vouchers will not be released without receipt of full payment.
3) Reservation Change and Cancellation Policies
3.1) To change the date, time or to cancel your Jetways Shuttle reservations, Jetways Shuttle Service must be notified 48 hours prior to the departure of the shuttle. Visit us at www.jetways.ca to make adjustments to your existing reservation/itinerary. To cancel your booking, please visit your booking travel agent or call Jetways Shuttle Service at 1-866-9jetway (1-866-953-8929). An administration fee applies for any cancellation of reservation.
3.2) Missed trips or no-shows will automatically be charged and are not refundable/non-transferable. Jetways shall not be liable for passengers unable to meet their scheduled departure time. Passengers are urged to consult with their ticketed air carrier for any restitution for losses of shuttle fare as a result of flight delays, flight cancellations or flight diversions.
3.3) Cancelled trips with a minimum 48-hour notice, prior to ticketed scheduled departure time is subject to an administration fee, plus applicable taxes. Cancelled trips 47-hours or less are non-refundable/non-transferable.
3.4) All passengers must have a pre-paid reservation and be in possession of their individual travel voucher issued by Jetways Shuttle Service, in order to board.
3.5) Reservations and changes to existing bookings are required a minimum 48-hours in advance of scheduled departure time, and are subject to availability.
3.6) Reservations are non-transferable, and are made in accordance with the conditions and rate prevailing at the time and date of booking.
3.7) Flight Cancellations, Flight Delays, and Flight Diversions: From time to time flights are cancelled, delayed or diverted, and it beyond the control of Jetways. Passengers experiencing cancellations, delays or diversions must notify Jetways as soon as it becomes known to the traveling passenger. Jetways will do its utmost to re-schedule each passenger on the next available shuttle. Please note that not all shuttles run on all days and are subject to availability. The next shuttle may refer to the next day(s). Passengers not accepting a “next shuttle” offer will not be refunded. If a Jetways passenger arrives to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport after a flight cancellation, flight delay or flight diversion, and has not notified Jetways of their change in flight arrival/status, they will be considered a “missed trip” or “no-show”. Missed trips and no-shows are 100% non-refundable/non-transferable. All liability for flight cancellations, flight delays and flight diversions will lie on the responsibility of the airline and terms and conditions of airline agreement will be adhered.
4)Check-In Requirements
4.1) Jetways Shuttle Service reserves the right to refuse any passenger holding a valid travel voucher, ticket or boarding pass that has not checked-in at the departure terminal a minimum 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
4.2) Luggage must be loaded and passengers on board no later than 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
4.3) Each passenger must carry proper identification for security purposes. Each passenger is required to contact their local custom and immigration agencies to ensure they are in possession of proper and valid documentation prior to making travel arrangements.
4.4) All passengers and luggage may be subject to a security search prior to boarding and/or anytime while onboard our shuttle carrier equipment. Passengers or persons who refuse to submit to a search will be denied boarding.
5) Included Services
Rates include transportation from your pre-determined point of origin to your pre-determined point of destination. Rates may be one-way transfers or round-trip transfers. Rates do not include the mandatory taxes. Rates include border crossing fees and road toll fees while in transit. Driver gratuities are not included and are highly appreciated.
6) Documentation
6.1) Travel Voucher Validity: Jetways Shuttle Service reserves the right to establish advance booking purchase time limits. Jetways reserves the right to automatically cancel any reservation that has not met the advance booking purchase time limit. The issuance of a travel voucher and receipt by Jetways of the applicable fare will be a confirmation of the passenger’s reservation. Jetways reserves the right to collect a surcharge on the fare paid if an increase has occurred prior to the commencement of travel. There is no guaranteed fare if ticketed in advance. Travel vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable if cancelled 47 hours or less prior to ticketed scheduled departure time of issued travel voucher. Travel vouchers are valid only for the date and time shown on the document. Passengers are required to review all travel documents and ensure that dates and times are correct. Jetways shall not be held responsible for travel voucher incorrectly issued. All travel vouchers, tickets, boarding passes, fares and transfers are one-way only and passengers are under no obligation to purchase return trips, whether such tickets are purchased separately or together with other services. Jetways reserves the right to refuse to accept any travel voucher that has been mutilated, lost, or stolen. A travel voucher, ticket or boarding pass is considered valid only after it has been properly endorsed by Jetways Shuttle Service. Jetways shall not be liable in the event of a travel voucher, ticket or boarding pass loss, destruction, or theft, or if the ticket is honored for transportation or refund when presented by any other person. Jetways reserves the right to refuse cash or credit card refunds on any purchase or unused travel voucher.
6.2) Travel Vouchers are issued for a specific date and time of departure from a pre-booked designated location of meet and greet. Do not assume you can forfeit a date and time of reservation and opt on the “next” shuttle. There are no guaranteed of date and time of the next shuttle and all shuttle departure times, dates and location of meet and greet are subject to availability.
7) Group Travel
Group rate travel vouchers, tickets or boarding passes must be purchased and paid in full at the time of booking. Group travel vouchers, tickets or boarding passes are valid only for departures issued and are 100% non-refundable if not used. A group consists of 20 adult passengers or more. Cancellations made 30-15 days prior to travel may be eligible for a 50% credit. All passengers must travel on the same itinerary to receive the group fare. Reservations are booked in the name of the group. A group escort name and contact phone number may be required. A list of names of all group members is required at time of booking. All passenger names must include a valid Passport Number or Driver’s License Registration Number (if of age). All group passengers must be in possession of own travel vouchers at embarkation. All Terms and Conditions apply to group passengers by any passenger on board or due to matters beyond the control of Jetways.
8)Customs and Immigration
8.1) Inspections: All passengers, personal items, luggage and freight (conditional acceptance) may be subject to search and inspection during standard border crossing procedures. Jetways will not be held responsible for any delay caused by such inspections, searches or questioning procedures.
8.2) Documentation: Jetways recommends all passengers are in possession of a valid passport. All passengers are responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of all necessary documentation for admission to both the United States of America and Canada. All passengers are liable to reimburse Jetways for any fines, charges or losses imposed by any authority in relation to the absence of the necessary documentation at the point of disembarkation.
8.3) A passport for all passengers (including children), valid 6 months beyond the date of return, is strongly recommended for all transfers. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all documentation needed to comply with the requirements of immigration, customs, health and other relevant regulations. Jetways reserves the right to check and record details of such documentation and to refuse you permission to board if such documentation is not produced to our satisfaction. It is the passenger’s own responsibility to be acquainted with the relevant rules and regulations in force at the time of travel.
8.4) Border Inspections: Passengers may be required to disembark the shuttle in order to perform mandatory custom clearance procedures. Delays may occur and Jetways makes time provisions to allow for a reasonable border inspection process to occur. However, in the event that the reasonable time permitted expires, Jetways will proceed without passengers whom are perceived as causing a delay to other passengers. Passengers are required to allow for a beyond reasonable amount of time to allow for such border crossing delays. Proper documentation is required and it is the passenger’s own responsibility to be acquainted with relevant rules and regulations in force at the time of travel. Passengers left behind at the border will be required to find alternative transportation onward or return home. Jetways will not be held responsible for missed flights, subsequent travel at destination or beyond, or transportation costs to the airport, home, or related costs incurred as a result of border crossing delays or refused entry by any passenger. Passengers requiring processing are not permitted to travel with Jetways. Passengers requiring subsequent ground transportation to the airport due to passenger knowingly or not knowingly requiring processing by customs and immigration will be charged the subsequent ground transportation charges for those shuttle passengers (on the same shuttle as processing passenger) of risk of missing their flight. The fee is also subject to a service fee charged by Jetways.
8.5) You, the passenger are required to carry all of your own baggage from the platform and through customs and immigration. Be prepared to declare any items of value that you are bringing into the United States or Canada. Articles brought into the United States and Canada is subject to duty and internal revenue tax but a visitor or non-resident is allowed certain exemptions and privileges.
9)Acceptance/Non-Acceptance of Persons and Goods
9.1) Jetways Shuttle Service reserves the right to refuse transfers to any person or luggage. Persons who do not comply with security inspections during check-in will be denied transfer.
9.2) Unaccompanied Minor: Jetways Shuttle Service reserves the right not to accept any child or youth under the age of 15 years, unless accompanied by an adult passenger.
9.3) Pets: Jetways Shuttle Services does not accept pets unless dogs that are certified to provide a service for visually impaired passengers. Owners of such pets must declare transfer of such dog at time of booking and have in owner’s possession proper documentation in support of animal health regulations.
9.4) Extra Baggage ( Skis, Golf Clubs, and Child Strollers): Jetways Shuttle Service will accept passengers with extra baggage of a reasonable quantity and size, at check in at our hub terminal, and space may be subject to availability. Passengers must advise Jetways Shuttle Service at the time of reservation. Jetways does charge for extra baggage and Jetways reserves the right to refuse transfer of extra baggage if space is unavailable and a reservation has not been made prior to boarding. Passengers are permitted 2 suitcases and one carry-on bag per person without charge. Passengers must refer to pricing or a Jetways representative for applicable costs per extra bag. Baggage may not exceed more than 23 kg/50lb per bag. Jetways reserves the right to request that passengers with extra baggage embark and disembark at the hub terminal.
Please note: Passengers returning from their travels with more than 2 pieces per person are required to notify Jetways 48-hours prior to scheduled return shuttle. Failure to notify Jetways may result in our not accepting this extra baggage due to space restraints. Jetways reserves the right to substitute transportation equipment for smaller passenger loads and will not take into consideration extra baggage unless previously notified and space is reserved.
9.5) Wheelchair Passengers: Jetways will accept for carriage passengers in wheelchairs. If a wheelchair passenger is unable to care for him or herself through embarkation, disembarkation, and the entire trip, he or she must be accompanied by a qualified attendant who will attend to those needs. You the passenger must be able to board carriage on own or with the assistance of the attendant.
9.6) Dangerous Goods and Firearms: Jetways will not accept for carriage firearms, ammunition, explosives, or any other form of goods considered dangerous or illegal. Any items confiscated by customs will not be returned and Jetways will not be held liable for return of such goods.
9.7) Jetways Shuttle Services reserves the right to refuse items considered as freight. If accepted, Jetways reserves the right to inspect such items prior to boarding. If the passenger refuses to submit to a search of such items, the item will be denied. Any items confiscated by customs will not be returned and Jetways will not be held liable for return of such goods.
10) Operation and Conditions of Carriage
10.1) Jetways Shuttle Service will not accept any liability arising from an alteration in the published schedule or route. Jetways does not guarantee that the service shall start or arrive at the time stated in the schedule and will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the passengers as a result of any delay. Jetways may cancel any scheduled operation without liability if in its opinion the safety of the passengers, driver, or employees could be in danger or for any other reason in Jetways’ sole and absolute discretion. Jetways reserves the right to substitute carrier equipment or cancel any operation entirely if it becomes necessary for any reason. Jetways reserves the right to cease shuttle operation prior to arrival to destination point for safety and/or rescue purposes or such other purposes as many reasonably be determined by Jetways Shuttle Service. Jetways may conclude the transfer at such locations without additional compensation to the passenger.
10.2) You, the passenger will be liable and will reimburse Jetways for all damage to carrier equipment, its furnishings and equipment or any property of Jetways and its others providing its travel services, caused directly or indirectly in whole or in part by you. You will indemnify Jetways and each or all of its agents and servants against any liability whatsoever that Jetways or such agents or servants may incur towards any person or persons or company or governments for any personal injury or death, loss or damage to property caused directly or indirectly in whole or in part of you.
10.3) Smoking is prohibited on board or while in transit.
10.4) You, the passenger are expected at all times to conduct yourself in a manner, which respects the health, comfort and safety of all other persons on board. You are also expected to comply with any reasonable request made by a member of our staff. I f you do not, or in our opinion your conduct is likely to give cause for concern, Jetways reserves the right to refuse to allow you to embark or require that you disembark and/or leave the terminal facilities. Under such circumstances we may cancel your contract and will refund your shuttle transfer ticket value. We shall otherwise have no liability to you.
10.5) Items left behind on board will not be returned unless arrangements have been made by the passenger and Jetways. All costs for returning found items are at the expense of the passenger. Items found on board and not claimed within 30 days of date of transit will be donated to local charities.
10.6) Passengers are required to be seated during transit. Passengers traveling with children are responsible for ensuring the child/children’s safety by requiring that they be seated and secure by providing a government approved child safety seat – suitable for the age/weight/height of child.
10.7) Conditions of carriers and suppliers are to provide services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which may limit or exclude their liability to you. You and your party undertake to abide by the regulations of carriage and other services during your transit. These carriers and suppliers bear no responsibility for any liability for any such delays, cancellations and changes of any kind due to weather, traffic, road construction, accidents, and border crossing delays, refusal of border entry, mechanical issues, labor disputes, acts of god, terrorism/terror threats, and matters beyond their control.
10.8) Jetways reserves the right to substitute shuttle equipment to suit the passenger load size and luggage requirements.
11) Cancellation and Delay Policies
11.1) If the transfer is cancelled or delayed and a passenger chooses alternate transportation to the scheduled destination; Jetways will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred such as travel, transportation, hotel, food or any other additional expenses. Jetways reserves the right to change its schedule, fares or route at any time and does not accept any liability arising from an alternation in the published schedule, fares or route or pay for any additional costs which may be incurred by its passengers.
11.2) Jetways does not guarantee the trip will arrive at its scheduled and published arrival time. Shuttle transfer journey times may vary due to weather, traffic, road construction, accidents, and border crossing delays, refusal of border entry, mechanical issues, labor disputes, acts of god, terrorism/terror threats, and matters beyond Jetways’ control. Jetways does not guarantee that the service shall depart or arrive at the time stated in the published schedule and will not be liable for any additional travel costs incurred by the passenger as a result of any delay.
11.3) You, the passenger must allow reasonable time for arrival to your flight destination in the event of delays, cancellations or cease of transit due to weather, traffic, road construction, accidents, and border crossing delays, refusal of border entry, mechanical issues, labor disputes, acts of god, terrorism/terror threats, and matters beyond Jetways’ control. Jetways recommends that you travel a day or days in advance of your subsequent travel arrangements at flight destination, to avoid loss of travel and disappointment.
12) Parking
Parking your vehicle in areas on or near our terminal locations is prohibited unless otherwise offered and written permission is given by authorized personnel of the terminal “meet and greet” locations suggested by Jetways Shuttle Service, exclusively. Jetways Shuttle Service does not provide passenger parking and therefore will not be liable for lost, stolen or damage personal property of any kind.
13) Scope of Responsibility
Transportation of passengers and baggage is provided by Jetways Shuttle Service, and is governed by the Terms and Conditions set out herein. Jetways Shuttle Service’s responsibility extends only from embarkation to disembarkation. Jetways Shuttle Service reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
14) Definitions
14.1) One-way: Any trip that has completed one leg of travel in any direction and terminates in a specified location that is not the point of origin.
14.2) Group: 20 persons or more traveling together on all segments of the trip will be classed as a group.
14.3) Adult: Any person who has reached their 25th birthday or is not a full-time student, at the time of travel, will be considered an adult.
14.4) Senior Citizen: Any person who has reached 60 years of age, at the time of travel, will be considered a senior citizen.
14.5) Student: Any person who has reached their 16th birthday, not exceeding their 25th birthday, and is a registered full-time student of high school, college, university or other post-secondary educational institution.
14.6) Child: Any person who is under the age of 16 years, at the time of travel, will be considered a child. Child safety seats are not available on any Jetways Shuttle Service transfer. Jetways Shuttle Service does not recommend motor coach travel for small children nunder the age of 3 years as carrier equipment does not supply child restraint devices.
14.8) Currency: All charges noted on Jetways Shuttle Service website or in print will be, as indicated, in Canadian Dollars, unless otherwise noted.
14.9) Schedules: Jetways Shuttle Service reserves the right to change or alter the schedule to meet traffic demands.
14.9) Hub: Refers to Jetways designated point of greeting from all terminal “meet and greet” locations. Passengers with extra baggage will board at the hub.

You acknowledge that Jetways Shuttle Service (division of 891019 Ontario Limited) is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any External Site if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on such External Sites.
16) Errors
While Jetways Shuttle Service has made every attempt and effort to ensure that the information contained in this website is accurate and up-to-date, Jetways is not responsible or liable for any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, misuse, or conversation of any data or information contained in, or derived from, this website, or for the results obtained from the use of any data or information. All information on this website is provided “as is” with no guarantee of completeness, accuracy, timeliness or of results obtained from the use of this information and without warranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied.
